Barely a sound, a mere breath
another breech in the walls
one more stone cracking
'neath precarious weight
sends tumbling down
the last vestiges of shelter
unleashing a torrent
of unwanted emotions
slowly crumbling to kneel
under the guise of false rains
naked and beaten down
weeping ever so silent
amidst the shattered remnants
no one sees the tears
cannot hear them fall
surronded in the protections
of false rain and dark night. |
