Ramblings: a return of sorts
Written by: Gabriel
I sat next to a man on a bus
and thought he was crazy
he was dress oddly
a little bit dirty
then he started talking to himself
I noticed that everyone else seem to think the same
they avoided eye contact
didn't even give him a second glance
I was almost one of those people till I notice something
I started to really listen to what he said
and even to this day I remember his words
for he said:

"Lord, do not fault them for this
they are afraid to look upon me
but not afraid to pass judgement
I ask you Lord to forgive them
for as your son said
'they know not what they do'
Now I know you've been there for me
Even though my life turned out like this
I know you will forgive them Lord
Because that's why I have my faith in you"

The next stop was mine
I moved to exit the bus
looking back knowingly towards the man
he met my eyes
then gave a slight nod
I made one in return
I walked off that bus
A better man then when I got on it
and as I stepped off the bus
the world seems to shine brighter
I put a label on him
he asked to have me forgiven
Blessed be the one who finds salvation
For he shall shine bright among the darkness
