Structures (The poetry of Ubi)

My Dream

Her eyes.

Behind the em'rald crystals' glare,
True beauty eminates from there,
Exists a place I like to go,
Wherein desire fills the air.

Her mind.

That place is complicated though,
By obligation, apropos,
Proposed by one whose ring she donned
At altar's foot...some time ago.

Her vow.

Unbroken still that sacred bond,
Too ominous to look beyond.
Yes, even for the ecstasy
Felt certainly...should we abscond.

Her place.

Although her place is not with me,
I entertain the fantasy
Wherein we meet in dark of night
And hand-in-hand pack up and flee.

My dream.
