Retrieval Attempt... (old poems by the Dolly)
Written by: Dead Dolly
right, so this is just a personal attempt to try and recall some of my poems from before everything was lost a while back. Nothing new, mostly for my own piece of mind really, I just figured I might be able to get some help from some of the other lurkers in the poetry section As may be expected, my memory isn't perfect, and some of the stuff I'm re-recording is piecy, so if anyone could try and help fill in the blanks, it would be much appreciated

To start off, one that I was rather proud of...

Burial, Pre-mortum

Never a heart beat was so loud,
As wrapped up in an earthen shroud,
As with the worms so low, unproud,
I strive to breath a putrid cloud.

A closer dark than in the womb,
I find, still living, in my tomb,
I fight against a grissly doom,
Crying out "Exhume! Exhume!"

The cool wood does about me press,
And add unto my great distress,
As to my madness I digress,
And tear and tug at unseen tress.

I'll chew my hands to bloody bones,
And shriek to start unyielding stones.
I'm in the darkness all alone,
Accompanied by dying moans.
